Welcome to Hakuba’s Big Bear Apartments, located at the base of the Happo-one Resort, site of the 1998 Winter Olympics. Located in a ski-in/ski-out position, the apartments are modern and stylish.

We offer the following apartments and configurations:

STUDIO APARTMENT: 2-3 GUESTS
ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT: 2-4 GUESTS
TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT: 3-4 GUESTS
ADJOINING STUDIO + ONE BEDROOM: 4-6 GUESTS
ADJOINING ONE BEDROOM + TWO BEDROOM: 5-8 GUESTS

Each self-contained apartment is finished and furnished to a high standard, with high-speed internet, Netflix-enabled smart TVs, well-equipped kitchens and all other conveniences to ensure absolute comfort. The Big Bear Apartments are ideal for smaller groups, couples, or even larger groups of friends who desire their own space, but wish to stay in close proximity to each other. Of particular interest to guests with children too young to ride the lifts is the Happo-one Resort’s Kids’ Snow Park, which is just a one minute walk from the Big Bear Apartments and offers a variety of ‘on-snow’ activities for the kids. This is also where the Happo Kids Club is located, offering indoor child-minding services and activities for toddlers.

Weekly linen changes, regular towel changes and daily supermarket/restaurant shuttles are provided and we are happy to assist guests with other services including ski rental, lessons, lift passes, restaurant reservations and other arrangements.

Virtually a ski-in/ski-out location, right at the base of Happo-one Resort's Sakka ski area and with a number of well-known bars and restaurants within a one minute walk.
